Theatre Access Project was founded on the belief that every child deserves the opportunity to experience the transformative power of theatre regardless of financial circumstances, previous experience, or personal barriers. Through accessible arts education and meaningful performance opportunities, TAP seeks to develop confident, creative, compassionate young people while strengthening the communities it serves.

We aspire to become a model for accessible arts programming that nurtures creativity, celebrates diverse voices, strengthens communities, and inspires future artists, educators, and leaders.
Why I Founded Theatre Access Project

I founded Theatre Access Project because I believe theatre has the power to change lives, and no young person should be denied that opportunity because of financial barriers or limited access. Throughout my career, I've witnessed the confidence, creativity, friendships, and sense of belonging that the performing arts can inspire, and I wanted to create an organization where every child, teen, and young adult is welcomed, supported, and encouraged to grow both as an artist and as a person. Theatre Access Project is built on the belief that the arts should be accessible to everyone, and that every young person deserves a place where they can discover their voice, express themselves, and experience the joy and transformative power of live theatre.
