Theatre Access Project

Breaking down barriers to the performing arts with bold, inclusive programming and an unapologetically creative spirit.

Theatre Access Project (TAP) exists to remove financial, social, and logistical barriers to participation in the performing arts by providing free, high-quality theatre education, artistic training, and performance opportunities for children, teens, and families. Through creativity, collaboration, and community partnerships, TAP empowers individuals to discover confidence, develop lifelong skills, and experience the transformative power of the arts.

WHAT WE DO

Theatre Access Project (TAP) provides high-quality theatre education and performance opportunities for children, teens, and young adults, ensuring that every aspiring artist has the opportunity to explore the performing arts regardless of financial circumstances. Through acting, musical theatre, voice, movement, workshops, master classes, and fully staged productions, participants receive professional training while developing confidence, creativity, collaboration, leadership, and lifelong skills.

We believe theatre has the power to transform lives and strengthen communities. By partnering with schools, community organizations, artists, and local supporters, TAP removes barriers to participation and creates welcoming spaces where every student can learn, grow, perform, and belong. Our mission is to make exceptional theatre education accessible, inspire the next generation of artists and leaders, and foster a lifelong love of the performing arts.

"Theatre has shaped who I am. It gave me confidence, purpose, and a place where I truly felt I belonged, and I believe every young person deserves that same opportunity. I founded Theatre Access Project to create a home where children, teens, and young adults can discover their voice, grow as artists and individuals, and experience the life-changing power of the performing arts. My hope is that every person who walks through our doors leaves believing in themselves a little more than when they arrived."
